Q U I E S C E to become quiet, calm, silent. YIN YOGA & YOGA ENERGETICS TEACHER TRAINING. 3 Weekends during winter 2025. In the quiet of yin, we soften into awareness, where movement becomes meditation, and breath becomes the bridge between body and being. This is where we slow down, listen deeply, and attune to the unseen layers of ourselves.
Quiesce is our new immersive 40-60hr Yin Yoga training for those seeking a an understanding of yin, somatic movement, breathwork, and the energetics of yoga. Structured into 3 weekend workshops 7-8 June, 19-20 July and 16-17 Aug, each dedicated to foundational aspects of yoga energetics. Attend inperson or there is an option to join online.
Attend 1 or all 3 weekend workshops to refine your practice, expand your knowledge, and develop a more intuitive, energetically aware approach to praciticng yoga and teaching. We explore the interplay between movement, breath, and subtle body energetics, bridging ancient yogic wisdom with somatic awareness.
Over three weekends, we explore:
* Workshop 1. Our Elemental Foundation – the gunas, mahabhutas and doshas, and how they shape our physical and energetic experience.
* Workshop 2. The Subtle Self; Layers of Being – Exploring the three shariras and the koshas, deepening awareness of the many dimensions of self.
* Workshop 3. Yogic Healing; Chakras & Nadis – Chakras as portals and Nadis as channels of energetic balance, integrating breath, movement, and sound.
In this training, there is emphasis on refining yin sequencing with mandala mapping, becoming confident and skilful with tactile and verbal cueing, somatic yoga, and deepening energetic attunement.
You’ll also learn to interweave sound healing, mantra, and pranayama with yin, creating a fully immersive and transformative experience.
Yin invites us to pause, listen, and soften. To become present with what is, rather than what we wish it to be. It is a path of unfolding, of deep inquiry, of resting into the natural rhythm of things.
