He went on to lead Sales teams for QuickBooks UK during one the most significant regulatory shifts in tax history - Making Tax Digital. Christiaan Van Der Valk

Prior to Christiaan’s role at Sovos, he was President and co-founder of TrustWeaver AB, which Christiaan co-founded in 2001 and which Sovos acquired in 2018. During his 25+ years of experience, Christiaan has served on numerous executive and supervisory boards for European and international businesses and organizations. He was elected a World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Leader for Tomorrow in 2000. Earlier in his career, Christiaan was Deputy Director of Policy and Business Practices at the Paris-based global headquarters of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Among other industry roles, Christiaan is currently Vice Chair of the Global Exchange Network Association (GENA) and Chair of the Digitalization Dialogue of the Inter-American Centre of Tax Administrations (CIAT). He is a French and Dutch dual citizen and holds a law degree from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
