Questward Bound Presents: Fright & Shivers!

Step into the shadows for Fright & Shivers, a night of horror-themed tabletop roleplaying games hosted by Questward Bound at The Bar at Black Band in Peoria.

On Sunday, October 5th, the doors open at 4:00 PM, and the dice hit the table at 5:00 PM sharp. Choose your nightmare:

• Dungeons & Dragons (2 tables) — classic fantasy with a chilling twist.
• Call of Cthulhu — unravel cosmic horrors and creeping madness.
• Mothership — survive the terrors of deep space.

Each game runs 3–4 hours, led by experienced GMs, and no prior rules knowledge is required. Just bring your courage (and maybe some dice).

Costumes are encouraged to add to the atmosphere, but not required.

The Bar at Black Band will be serving their full menu of drinks and food favorites, including burgers, wings, grilled cheese, and fries, to keep adventurers fueled through the fright.

Each ticket inculdes the following.

• Premade character for the game.
• Set of RPG dice.
• 1 Free Questward Bound Mini.
• A seat at your selected table.

1981 small town America In the town of Burroughs, the old Barnaker house has sat idle for generations. Desiccated, deserted, and some say even… dormant. Local superstitions weave an intricate tapestry of disappearances and strange events “too far back to even remember”. At least that’s what your parents say when they warn you to stay away. But when the local bully steals some of your personal stuff on Halloween and holds it ransom, do you follow through with his dare to survive a night in the Barnaker house, or go down as “chickens” for the rest of your lives?

You and your crew must try to survive in the most inhospitable environment in the universe: outer space. Players will participate in a one-shot adventure in this retro-future sci-fi setting while trying to survive and keep their characters from losing their grip on reality.
