About this Event
This workshop aims to create community and foster a collaborative spirit amongst Queer writers in York. Starting from a variety of prompts authored by Queer women (poetry, paintings, music, etc), we will work through several creative writing exercises before spending some time creating a shared poem. No experience required, just a desire to write and connect with other local creatives.
The workshop will be led by Judi Amato, a York-based playwright and theatre maker.
This event is part of York International Women's Week. Like this one, many of the events are free to attend, so please check out the extensive programme on www.yorkwomen.org.uk.
