Trans* Life Drawing Berlin and Queer Life Drawing Berlin are teaming up to bring you a spooky Halloween life drawing special! We will be drawing the amazing Honey (they/them) in drag as Baby Monster (they/it)—expect some exciting drag from this wonderful trans* non-binary creature! Here they are in their own words:
‘Baby Monster (b. 2021, they/it) is a rugged woodland creature, a queer drag clown, that investigates the highs and lows of human emotion. They are a freak and a monster… but in a baby way. They are on a mission of becoming wilder and weirder.’
This event is for participants who identify as queer and/or under the trans* umbrella, as well as for those who are questioning their gender/sexual identity.
We work with a sliding scale to try and keep this event financially accessible. The guidelines below may help you decide how much to contribute. Everyone’s situation changes all the time, so just see where you are at the moment.
20+€ Soli-ticket: this helps balance the sliding scale, keeping the event financially accessible.
15-20€: Your basic needs are comfortably met. You have a steady, well-paid job, or maybe you are freelancing and you just landed a great job/sold that expensive painting.
10-15€: Money can feel a little tight at the end of the month, but you’re able to pay your rent and bills and go to some events etc without worrying too much.
5€: You have a low or very sporadic source of income; your basic needs are not always met.
The event will take place at Gelegenheiten e.V. and is on the ground floor. The space is wheelchair accessible, however the toilets are unfortunately not.
Please come tested (home tests also okay). Masks are not mandatory, but are welcomed.
Room agreement: Respect and appreciate one another and the model. Do not take photos of anyone unless you have their explicit permission. Do not assume anyone's pronouns.
