A creative workshop for queer folks (16+) in Glasgow, to express and explore identity through portraiture
About this Event

Self-portraits can be a powerful way to express ourselves and help us navigate our identity as queer people. In this workshop, run by local art tutor Morna Murdoch, we will explore a mixed media approach to self-portraiture, queer visibility and self-acceptance.

Being creative boosts our mental wellbeing by helping us reduce stress, process emotions and express ourselves.

No experience needed to attend, all welcome. All materials will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own materials if you’d prefer.

Who we welcome

Anyone from the LGBTQIA+ community aged 16+ living or travelling to Glasgow is welcome to join us. We welcome the entire diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community including non-binary, queer, intersex, asexual people and all identities under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella. This includes those who are questioning or exploring their sexual orientation or gender identity.
