🪷 We are a queer meditation group in the Insight tradition, part of True North Insight in Montreal. We'd love to have you join us—whether you're new to meditation or have been practising for years. We're guided by a wonderful variety of queer Buddhist teachers, both in person and online.
🕖 New hours: 7:00 PM – 8:15 PM
🌈 Our hybrid format means queer-identified folks from anywhere can be part of our circle every Wednesday.
💝 Cost: By donation (suggested $10–30)
🏠 For those joining in person: we've got cushions, blankets, and tea ready for you. Come a few minutes early to set up a comfy spot, get a cup a tea, and settle in.
💻 For those joining online DM us for link and password: come as you are, from wherever you are. Create a cozy meditation corner, settle onto the couch, lie down in bed if you're tired, or join with your camera off while walking or in transit (just not while driving!). However you show up is perfect.
📢 We close each session with community announcements—a chance to share events, resources, or connections.
🧱 You can also support Brick by Brick (https://www.briqueparbrique.com/en/donate), the community group that generously offers their space to us. One-time or monthly donations welcome.
♿ The space is fully accessible and we run an air filtration unit during meditation.
🌍 The last Wednesday of each month is online only, with a special guest teacher joining us from afar.
