Our next meeting is scheduled for Monday 20th October 2025 at 6.30pm in the New Farm Library meeting room. October's theme is "Queer Events In History" showcasing a range of books featuring events which have shaped the course of Queer History.
The recommended books from the reading list are:
‘Going Postal: more than 'Yes' or 'No' : one year on: writings from the marriage equality survey’ by Quinn Eades (editor), 2018. 265 pp.
‘Indecent advances: a hidden history of true crime and prejudice before Stonewall’ by James Polchin, 2019. 244pp.
‘Serving in Silence?: Australian LGBT servicemen and women’ by Noah Riseman, Shirleene Robinson, Graham Willett, 2018. 293pp.
The second half of the meeting if time permits is a general discussion about any other book recommendations, TV/ films/ streaming, or events of interest to the Queer community.
