Join us for Queer Quriosities, a monthly gathering dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive space for queer-identifying individuals to come together and discuss issues that directly impact us and our community. This open forum is designed to foster meaningful conversations, share experiences, and build a supportive network.
Each month, we will explore a range of topics relevant to the queer community, from personal experiences and challenges to broader social and political issues. Two dedicated facilitators will be present at every event to guide the conversation, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to share their thoughts and be heard.

In addition to our monthly gatherings, we will be sending out a monthly e-connect newsletter featuring the upcoming month's topics. This will help keep everyone informed and engaged, allowing participants to prepare for and look forward to each discussion.
Whether you are looking to connect with others, share your story, or simply listen and learn, Queer Quriosities is a welcoming space for all queer individuals to engage in open and honest dialogue. Come and be a part of our vibrant community as we work together to address the issues that matter most to us.

Community Standards for Queer Quriosities Participation
To ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants, we ask that everyone adhere to the following community standards:
Respect Everyone: Treat all participants with kindness and respect. This includes listening actively, valuing diverse perspectives, and refraining from judgment or discrimination based on race, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, or any other aspect of identity.
Confidentiality: What is shared in the group stays in the group. Respect the privacy of others by not sharing personal stories or information outside of the forum without explicit consent.
Open Dialogue: Encourage open and honest discussions while being mindful of differing opinions. Be willing to engage in constructive conversations and remain open to learning from one another.
No Hate Speech: Absolutely no hate speech, harassment, or bullying will be tolerated. This includes derogatory remarks or slurs against any group or individual.
Supportive Environment: Foster a supportive atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable expressing themselves. Offer encouragement and understanding to those who share their experiences and struggles.
Stay on Topic: While sharing personal stories and experiences is encouraged, please keep discussions relevant to the topics at hand to maintain a focused and productive conversation.
Practice Self-Care: Recognize your own emotional limits and prioritize self-care. If a discussion becomes overwhelming, it’s okay to step back or take a break.
Facilitator Guidance: Respect the facilitators’ roles in guiding conversations. They are here to help maintain a positive environment and ensure everyone has an opportunity to contribute.
