We're celebrating Arbor Day a bit early this year! We'll start with lounging in the grass, pet some trees, and tell the trees (and each other) how great they are! Then we’ll take to the trails for a walk.Feel free to bring chairs/blankets for hanging out on, I’ll bring a couple extras to share!
Accessibility Notes: Small parking lot with one accessible parking spot, street parking available. This park has paved trails in decent condition, picnic tables are located in grassy area, primarily flat everywhere. Bathrooms are available at Hawk Island Park, about a half mile walk/2 mile drive from meet-up location.
Queer Nature Club is a group for connecting with nature - together! We meet about once a month year-round, sometimes focused on certain themes or attending events, other times just hanging out at a local park.
This group is open to 2SLGBTQIA+ folks and allies of all ages, anyone under 18 must be with an adult at all times. No pets, please.
