About this Event
Class is for all who identify as LGBTQIA+. Kayanu defines queer as the authentic expression of self that deviates from heterocis structures. He uses it as an expansive term that opens the spectrum of gender identity/gender expression/and sexuality to many.
Class will comprise of traditional kenpo karate principles and techniques, opening meditation, energetics warm ups, martial techniques, and monthly chinese tea ceremonies.
LOCATION: Gouverneur is a hospital - upon arrival, head to the elevators in the back and go to floor 5. Walk to the back and enter the open door to find class.
ATTIRE: Closed toed flexible shoes and flexible exercise clothing.
