About this Event
Join us for an insightful symposium, Queer Justice: Violence, Victimisation, and Protection in LGBT+ Communities, where we explore the intersection of LGBT+ identities and social harms. This event will focus on the experiences of violence, victimization, and the presence or absence of systemic protection within LGBT+ communities.
Bringing together a diverse group of academics, activists, and practitioners, the symposium will feature in-depth discussions on the unique vulnerabilities faced by LGBT+ individuals.
This symposium invites professionals, community leaders, and allies to contribute to a deeper understanding of the challenges and protections related to LGBT+ communities, and to work towards creating safer, more inclusive spaces for all.
The symposium will take place on Tuesday, 5th November, from 5pm to 7pm in Room G.06 of the Brookfield Health Sciences Complex.
