Ritual Description: Greeting magic makers!
Together, we will harness the grounding and persistent energy of Taurus to manifest abundance, self-love, and transformation. The full moon is a time to gain clarity and identify things that we need to release or change because they no longer serve us. Taurus gives us the will to go after what we want. Symbolized by the bull, we can charge toward our goals and realize our dreams. This ritual will honor the Earth sign's connection to nature, beauty, and the physical world while celebrating our unique queer identities. Through reflection, intention setting, and creative expression, we will release old patterns and invite new possibilities into our lives.
We begin our rituals with introductions and a check-in question followed by a land and black life acknowledgment. Participants are then invited to volunteer to lead a grounding exercise. There will be time to share astrology wisdom of this full moon.
During this month’s ritual we will pull oracle or tarot cards using a special Taurus-themed spread designed to gain insight into what needs to be released, what we need to cultivate, and the steps we can take to manifest our dreams. This will help guide the focus of our intentions. We will use colorful air-dry clay to create personal talismans that symbolize our intentions. Participants can shape their talisman into meaningful symbols and shapes. These talismans will serve as physical reminders of the energy we are invoking. The talismans will be activated during a loving kindness guided meditation together. Please bring a small box that you can use to transport your magical talisman.
We need your help to create a RSVP culture at The Diversity Center for our well-being offerings. Please RSVP via eventbrite so we can gather the necessary ritual supplies. Please arrive on time at 6:00. Participants will be asked to complete our Community Connection Survey while we all get settled in.
Tea and ritual supplies are provided by The Diversity Center. All LGBTQ+ community members and allies are welcome and space is limited to 20 participants. Participants are welcome to bring their journals any magical items that will help them feel comfortable during the ritual.
Meggie (she/her) designed and will facilitate this ritual.
