🌸 Queer Equinox Celebration 🌸Hello, sparkly souls! You’re officially invited to celebrate the return of spring with your glittering queer community. During the spring equinox, the dark and the light are balanced before the sun slowly unfolds us into spring.
Let’s honor mama nature’s new year by intentionally gathering with other queer folks in our community through guided connection practices, dancing, and presence. Whether you’re new to the Okanagan or simply need a space to unapologetically hold your rainbow energy, we’ve designed the perfect mix of playfulness and sacredness for you.
Did we mention the cozy tea station? Because yes, there will be a delightful little corner for cozy sips and quiet moments. Sometimes we need a pause, and we’ve got you covered.
Come as you are to be seen, celebrated, and connected.
**This will be a scent-free and alcohol/substance-free event. Our focus is on play and connection that is relaxing for the senses and healthy for the mind, body, and soul.

This event was dreamt up by Tarea and Sage, who wanted to bring more joyful, grounded, and intentional experiences to our beautiful queer community.
We are deeply grateful to have the opportunity to create, collaborate, play, and work on these lands. The traditional, unceded, ancestral territory of the syilx Okanagan peoples. These lands hold the stories, paths, and traditions of Indigenous peoples, past and present, and we honor that as we come together.
Meet your crew:
Tarea will be guiding you through playful and open-hearted connection time to get to know your fellow queer fam and allow yourself to be known and seen. Tarea has been facilitating trauma-informed somatic coaching and intimacy events for 6 years and is stoked to sprinkle some magic on the equinox.
