Queer Contra Dance Camp, April 11-13 2025, is a queer-normative dance weekend in the California redwoods with incredible talent and an enthusiastic and friendly community. This year we're joined by callers Angela DeCarlis and Sue Rosen and our bands are The Sage Thrashers and Starling. San Francisco Bay Queer Contra Dance's fourteenth annual camp welcomes dancers of all identities and experience. We use the calling terms larks and robins, prioritize consent, and have gender-free facilities.This year's theme is "Sparkle and Shine!" and we encourage those who enjoy dressing up to bring something in theme for our Saturday night dance. Camp includes housing, three meals on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday.
Registration is on a sliding scale starting at $125 and we ask attendees to be as generous as they can so that more of our community can join us for a weekend like no other.
