R. J. Singleton is a graduate of Baylor University, holding a BFA in Theatre Performance with a minor in History. Their scholarly interests center on African American history and anthropology, with particular emphasis on the intersection of Black American literary, visual, theatrical, and comic book arts over the past century. Queer College is a Dallas-based public lecture series presented by the Pride Museum of Texas. The program hosts monthly, free educational events featuring leading experts and researchers across a wide range of topics in LGBTQ+ history and lived experience. Events are held primarily at venues along Cedar Springs Road in Oak Lawn and are designed to educate the broader public about Queer History and to provide resources that will help them beyond the lecture. The format emphasizes an informal, Socratic-style exchange that encourages dialogue, curiosity, and community.

About the Pride Museum
