Join us for an evening of bold storytelling and conversation with Queer Cinema Night at TaraG. This special screening will feature the provocative and thought-provoking film Gerontophilia, exploring themes of love, age, and identity in queer relationships.
🎞️ About the Film – Gerontophilia
Gerontophilia is a daring and unapologetic exploration of attraction across generations. The film follows Lake who is in a straight relationship with Desiree but finds himself becoming attracted to men at the pool. When he cannot control his desires any longer, he starts working at an adult home and starts a relationship with a much older man. The film invites viewers to rethink their assumptions about what constitutes meaningful connection. Following the screening, there will be an engaging Q&A session led by curator and filmmaker Janie Ogeah, focusing on intergenerational relationships within the queer community.
