<h4>Join us for an evening celebrating LGBTQIA+ artists, ceramics, and community!</h4>
This special evening will run from 6-9 pm and include drinks and bites from local businesses, drag performances, a short-film documentary screening highlighting Queer Cat's programming, a raffle, and silent auction featuring fine art, ceramics, and pottery from local wood-fire artists.
Drag performances by Anyanka and Rosie Cakes begin at 7 pm, followed by our film screening at 8 pm. Raffle prizes and silent auction winners will be announced at 8:30 pm (ticket holders do not need to be present to win). And don't forget your dancing shoes for a karaoke after party! From 9 pm-late.
Queer Cat is a free, annual ceramic art program serving LGBTQIA+ artists in the Portland area. Offering a fully free firing weekend at East Creek Art in Willamina, OR, Queer Cat brings together artists of all levels of experience. With a fully LGBTQIA+-led crew, the Queer Cat Firing cultivates an environment focused on clay education and provides avenues to mentorship, advocacy, and the creation of ceramic art.
Queer Cat is a program of the Rural Craft Education Association, a tax exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, tax ID number 93-1577457.
