Castlemaine Pride invites you to bake, come together and eat cake! With 6 exciting prize categories to enter:
Gayest Cake: Yass queen…unleash your inner diva!
Best Tart: If pastry is your passion, you can puff up or get short!
Beyond the Binary: Most non-conforming flavour palette.
Deadliest Cake: Most fabulous feature of native ingredients.
This cake is ‘brat’: Best youth entry under the age of 18.
‘People’s Choice’ Award: Power to the people!
There are some fabulous prizes on offer to the winner of each category!
Judging by celebrity culinary connoisseurs: Johnny Baker, Cabosse & Feve, Bar Midland, Ratbag Food & Wine, Superhero and Dhelkaya Health.
Sweet serenades by queer cowgirl Jess Parker.
There will also be a tea party hosted by the Silver Rainbow Social Club, stocked by local purveyors The tea dispensary and Green Goes the Grocer.
It’s set to be a day of yummy food, music, and fabulous company. So, whether you’re there to show off your baking skills or just to enjoy the atmosphere, come along for a slice of community fun!
