A fusion of conscious movement and conscious breathing, Queer Breathwork will deepen your connection to self and with like-minded people from the LGBTIQ+ community and allies.Inspired by various movement practices, this workshop will support participants in using conscious movement and conscious breathing to silence the mind, relax the nervous system and open the breath. This workshop will include two 75-minute transpersonal breathwork sessions with a method called conscious connected breathing, and other breathwork techniques. This workshop will support you to:
-access a deeper understanding of self and your experience of life;
-quiet the thinking mind (mental chatter) and access the wisdom of the subconscious mind and body;
-gain new information and clarity about life;
-release old and outdated stories about yourself and how you are in this world;
-let go of held or 'hidden' physical, emotional and mental patterns and stories;
-bring your heart, body and mind into alignment; and
-access a deeper understanding of your spirituality.
Queer Breathwork is a unique LGBTIQA+ gathering. Its purpose is to create a safe and supported space for the LGBTIQA+ community and their allies to gather, process unconscious energies held in the body, access higher states of consciousness and inner wisdom, and celebrate Queer energy.
Transition Breath’s workshops are trauma-informed and apply holistic psychotherapy principles to every session. Transpersonal Breathwork is ideal for people experiencing mental health conditions such as chronic stress, anxiety and depression, processing trauma and wanting to find greater meaning in life.
This group breathwork session is on:
-Saturday, 12 October 2024
- 9.30am to 4.30pm
- Greenhouse Studios, Petersham, Sydney
Further information about the session will be provided to participants. Light refreshments provided, participants to BYO lunch. To ensure adequate support to participants, there are only 14 spaces available - best to book in early to avoid missing out.
Tickets:
The exchange varies depending on your financial situation:
-Early bird ticket, $210 (available until 28 September)
- Full fee ticket, $260
- Sponsored ticket $150 (limited places available).

***Refunds are available up to 48 hours before the event (Humantix Booking fee is not refundable), minus a 10% administration fee. Tickets can be transferred to another person.
Breathwork is not suitable for: People with cardiovascular problems, pregnancy, some psychiatric conditions, psychosis, recent surgery or fractures, acute infectious illness or epilepsy, severe hypertension or glaucoma.
