This is a space for working queer artists from all over the region to gather at a queer-owned tea house to support queer art & artists.
About this Event

Q-MoB & Heart's Pace Teahouse are delighted to offer this space for working queer artists (both visual & performing artists) from all over the Berkshire region to gather once a month to share about their artwork, their dreams, their challenges, and to support & inspire one another on many levels and in many ways. Ride-sharing & carpooling available for men who want to reduce their carbon footprint &/or need/want a ride. It is our hope that this monthly gathering will foster and support queer art & artists in some of these ways:

1) Help develop friendships, collaboration, &/or mentorships between queer artists

2) Help groups of queer artists to come together to collaborate on queer art shows, performances, or community art events

3) Inspire queer artists to seek grants together to support the development of queer art in the region

4) help queer artists to share their struggles & visions and collectively develop ways to overcome those struggles & achieve their visions, e.g., with housing, health insurance, business management, finding places to exhibit, finding grants and financial support, and finding affordable supplies.

FIVE QUEER MEN'S COFFEE KLATCHES PER MONTH: To foster community close to where you live, Q-MoB offers five other Queer Men's Coffee Klatches in towns throughout the Greater Berkshire Region. Click on the links below to learn more or register for any of them:

CARPOOLING & RIDE-SHARING: We encourage everyone to carpool, and Q-MoB's Ride Coordinator will be reaching out to find rides for men who don't have cars and to encourage carpools by men who live in the same or nearby towns. When you register, please let us know your cell # and home address to help us facilitate carpooling and ride-sharing.

OR : Please donate $5-$20 to help assure Q-MoB can continue to offer more than 20 activities & multiple resources & services to rural queer men all over the region. If you attend 2 or more Q-MoB events/month, please consider becoming a monthly sustaining donor member. By donating $25, $50, $75, or $100/month you can help to sustain the incredible variety of activities, services, and resources Q-MoB provides and assure all of these activities are accessible to men regardless of their age, income, or ability, and best of all you can avoid having to donate at each and every event you attend. Monthly Sustaining Members pay only once a month and then can attend all our activities with no further donation.
