Queer & Trans Parent Group
Looking for your community? This summer, Transformative Birth Care has partnered up with Malaya Midwifery and Wood Coffee Co. to host a parenting group for Queer and Trans families.
This is an ideal group for LGBTQIA2+ families that are planning to grow or are currently pregnant, postpartum, or parenting young children. The group will meet monthly at Wood Coffee Co: 6pm on 7/29, 8/26, & 9/23. It will be a hybrid group held simultaneously in-person & online for those who prefer to attend virtually. Please share and send to anyone who needs to know about this group! Facilitated by Ray Weber (they/them/elle) and Jhoanna Galvez (She/They/Siya), two Licensed Midwives (LMs) and queer healthcare providers local to Long Beach. We provide pregnancy, birth, postpartum, newborn, and well-person health care in Long Beach, OC, LA county and surrounding areas.
