Queer Alphabet: An LGBTQIA Short Play Reading Program

Program is as follows: Lovers and Survivors by Aaron Leventman (Santa Fe, NM) about two friends spanning 50 years who survive the AIDS crisis together; Wabi Sabi by Rachael Carnes (Portland, OR) which addresses teenage gender identity as two previous friends reconnect in high school; Bisexual Sadness by India Kotis (New York, New York) about the about the uncomfortable tensions between personal and social identity; Slow Dating by Adam Szudrich (Australia) where an elderly lady tries speed dating it leads to a night with a charming stranger; Switching Sides by Terry McFadden (L.A., CA,) a sort of intergenerational coming out story about a father and son; A is for Ahhh….. by written and performed by Marguerite Louis Scott that address the “A” in LGBTQIA; and Cruel Matriarch by Ariana Roybal (Santa Fe, NM) about a lesbian couple dealing with homophobia within their families.
