About this Event
Queer African Movie Night is an intimate and intentional evening dedicated to celebrating queer African love through film, storytelling, and community. Centered on queer African romance, this event highlights narratives that affirm tenderness, joy, and possibility for love stories that have historically been censored, erased, or pushed to the margins. Through the screening of Rafiki, attendees will experience powerful love stories set across the African continent that challenge dominant narratives and honor the depth of queer African relationships.
