About this Event
This walk is taking place on International Dawn Chorus Day. We'll be starting early for the best chance to hear (and hopefully also to see) birds in Queen's Park. Our guide, Stuart Milligan, is an accomplished birder and a member of the Scottish Ornithologists Club - he's interested in identifiying birds by their song and call. 42 different bird species have been seen and recorded in Queen's Park so hopefully we'll be lucky on the day and encounter a lot of wonderful birds.
We're limiting numbers to 20 people and are asking for a donation of £3 to secure your place. Dogs aren't allowed for obvious reasons, accompanied children are welcome (no cost). Please dress for the weather - it'll be cool at 5am!
If you're unable to join us but would like to go on a bird walk, SOC events are open to everyone, whether or not you're a member - https://www.birdsinclyde.scot/
