Join us for the Queens Clothing Swap - absolutely FREEAn alternative to fast fashion, the Queens Clothing Swap is an opportunity to freshen up your wardrobe, connect with your community and do better by the environment.
How it works:
Drop off your clothes at the drop-off time
We give you a token for each garment
Return at the swap time
Swap your tokens for fancy new threads
Help save the world
Please bring a minimum of three and a maximum of five garments. For the success of the swap it’s very important that you only bring high quality clothing - strictly no clothing that is visibly worn, is stained or is damaged.
When you drop off your clothing you will be given either a BLUE or GREEN token for each item - BLUE for blouses, shirts, skirts and pants, and GREEN for coats, jackets, dresses and higher value items. Please don’t be offended if clothing is rejected for the swap.
Changing rooms, clothes hangers and mirrors are provided, and a DJ will be playing to keep the swap bumping along.

To help manage numbers we will be running two sessions:
SESSION ONE
Monday 7th February
9:00am - 10:00am: Clothing Drop Off
10:30am - 12:00pm: Clothing Swap
SESSION TWO
Monday 7th February
12:30pm - 1:30pm: Clothing Drop Off
2:00pm - 3:30pm: Clothing Swap
COVID-19 Information:
This event will operate under the COVID-19 Protection Framework traffic light system, and will proceed at red, orange or green settings. At the red setting numbers will be limited to 100 people per session.
At all settings the following will apply:
Vaccination certificates will be required for people 12+
Scanning in will be mandatory
Face masks are encouraged
Sanitiser will be available
In any setting, it’s extremely important that you do not attend if you are unwell.
