It's that time again! Our 11th annual community seed swap is set for Saturday, March 8th at the Peter White Library Community Room.1:00 - Drop off seeds
1:30 - Seed Swap begins
3:00 - Seed Swap ends
A seed swap is a meet up for gardeners and seed savers to share knowledge and seeds in preparation for the growing season -- and to support folks new to seed saving. There will be informational tables -- please see the attached poster for details!
Community members are welcome to bring open pollinated seeds to share that are not licensed or patented. Seed drop off starts at 1:00 so that volunteers can organize the seeds by family prior to the swap. Please consider dropping off your seeds in small envelopes/bags that are labeled with plant type, variety, and the year the seed was collected, along with any other details you’d like to provide. Example: Tomato, Beefsteak, 2023, grown in Skandia
Bringing seeds is not required to participate in the event. Anyone who would like to learn more about gardening in our area is also welcome at the Seed Swap. The event needs volunteers! Please let us know you wish to volunteer for the seed swap by signing up

Thanks to volunteers, and donors the Seed Library cabinet, on the main floor of the Peter White Public Library, is stocked for this gardening season and many packets of seed are available for the swap. So if you can't make it to the Swap, please visit the Seed Library cabinet.
Donations are greatly appreciated and help fund the materials needed for the Seed Library cabinet & future swapping events.
