Save the Date!! We are excited to meet everyone who wishes to enter their children aged 4 (reception) to age 14 to take part in the 2026 Lymm May Queen. If your child has been involved with the retinue for at least 1 year and are aged 6 they are eligible to go in the Tombola for the title of Queen. Ages for flower girls is reception from the age of 4 but to be eligible for Queen children need to have participated for at least 1 event in the retinue AND be aged 6-8 (year 4) to be Rose Queen, Age 8 (year 5) to age 14, with 1 year in the retinue, to be entered as May Queen. There are several roles open to both boys and girls, Beefeaters, Crown Bearer, Cloak Bearer, Flower Girls, Lady in Waiting. Free entry for participating and Helper Parents/Carers. A little gift & snacks provided as a thank you to the wonderful children who take part. Please note the children will be on a slow moving flat bed float that is chaperoned for their safety.
