Join us on Tuesday, October 21st, for a six-course Latin-inspired menu from owner and chef Carla Meneses. As you eat and drink your way through a carefully paired menu, Carla will share her Ecuadorian roots in her dishes, and Austin will discuss why certain beers taste so wonderfully well with those flavors. See the full menu & pairings list below:
1. Horchatini (Appetizer Cocktail)
A playful fusion cocktail — traditional Latin horchata, reimagined as a smooth, spiced martini with dark rum. Creamy, aromatic, and the perfect way to start the evening.
2. “October Feast” Empanada
Savory sausage and braised cabbage wrapped in a golden pastry — a nod to Oktoberfest with a Latin twist.
Paired with Oktoberfest Festbier Lager - 6%
3. Bonitisima (Ecuadorian Corn & Potato Patties)
Hand-formed patties from the Ecuadorian Highlands made with corn and potatoes, served warm with creamy avocado sauce.
Paired with 918 Cerveza - 4.4%
4. Camarones con Coco en Salsa de Ají Dulce
Succulent shrimp simmered in coconut milk with a sweet pepper (ají dulce) sauce — rich, tropical, and delicately spiced.
Paired with Goin' Stag Belgian Ale - 5.2%
5. Pork Sauté with Hominy & Encurtido
Tender pork sautéed to perfection, served with traditional hominy and tangy Ecuadorian-style pickled vegetables.
Paired with Zeeco Märzen - 5.5%
6. Muchines de Yuca (Dessert)
Golden-fried yuca patties with a touch of sweetness, served with warm molasses syrup and a drizzle of queso fresco cream.
