Quartus is de debuuttentoonstelling van Jeroen Teerlinck.

Textiel, was, hars en pigment dragen rouw en herinnering, niet als symbolen, maar als littekens die zichtbaar blijven. De panelen en installaties zijn rauw, getekend en onaf; ze weigeren afronding en tonen sporen die niet helen.

Geboren uit persoonlijk verlies, maar herkenbaar voor ieder die draagt wat niet vergeten wil worden, opent Quartus een ruimte om stil te vallen bij de zwaarte. Een plek waar rouw, zelfs in haar ruwste vorm, niet alleen breuk toont, maar ook verbinding.

Quartus is the first solo exhibition of Jeroen Teerlinck.

Cloth, wax, resin, and pigment bear grief and memory, not as symbols, but as scars that remain visible. The panels and installations are raw, marked, and unfinished; they refuse closure, leaving traces of what will not heal.

Born from personal loss, yet resonant with anyone who keeps what cannot be forgotten, Quartus opens a space to pause with heaviness. A place where grief, even in its rawest form, reveals not only rupture, but also connection.
