It is five years since Aboyne last enjoyed the outstanding music of the Italian based string quartet “Quartetto Nous” so it is great to welcome them back to play on 7th November.
Formed in 2011, the Quartetto Noûs has now established itself as one of the most interesting chamber music ensembles of its generation. Their line-up has recently been modified and now comprises Ekaterina Valiulina (violin), Alberto Franchin (violin), Sara Dambruoso (viola) and Riccardo Baldizzi (cello).
In Aboyne their program is
F.J. Haydn - String Quartet in B minor Op. 64 No. 2 (22 min)
Dvorak - String Quartet in E-flat major No. 10 Op. 51 (33 min)

F. Schubert - String Quartet in D minor D810 "Death and the Maiden" (35 min)
