QUARTERS OF CHANGE
Quarters of Change is the Lower-East-Side quartet leading the charge on New York City's rock resurgence. Composed of Ben Acker, Attila Anrather, Jasper Harris, and Ben Roter, the band has made waves online (and on the road) with their authentic brand of alternative rock.
After receiving co-signs from stars like Joe Jonas, Lewis Capaldi, and Fred Durst -- the band made their major label debut in July of 2022, and tapped Mikey Freedom Hart (Bleachers) and Tom Lord-Alge (U2, The Rolling Stones, Blink 182) for finishing touches on what was otherwise a self-produced project.
Quarters of Change then embarked on a full North American tour supporting Bad Suns (Epitaph Records), stopping at radio stations and gracing playlist covers along the way, and now prepares for their biggest year yet. Listen to Into The Rift (Deluxe) out now on Elektra Records (Warner Music Group).
Opener: Rebounder
Rebounder is the band of New York City native producer and writer Dylan Chenfeld, with his brother Noah Chenfeld, joined by Cobey Arner and Zack Kantor.
Rebounder has received praise from NME, DIY, Notion, The Fader, Pigeons and Planes, and has been played on Ezra Koenig's Time Crisis.
Rebounder teamed with good friend Jesse Rutherford (lead singer of The Neighbourhood) for the collaboration song Change Shapes (feat. Jesse). The song received great press from The FADER, Office Magazine, & Pigeons and Planes. The band performed the song with Jesse for the first time at a halloween party in New York.
Rebounder recently modeled for a brand collaboration with menswear company Corridor, the song used in the digital ad campaign was "Slow Angel." The Rebounder song "Night Sports" was synced in an episode of Showtime's "Shameless."
Rebounder has toured with the likes of MUNA, Twin Shadow, How Long Gone / Chris Black, Dayglow, The Neighbourhood, and Cautious Clay. They have played private shows for the NME, and done a campaign for J.Crew.
Rebounder's debut track "Japanese Posters" just broke 13m on Spotify, with the project now boasting more than 400,000 monthly listeners on the platform with very few songs out.
Boy Friday is the new single from Rebounder, self produced and written, the song boasts a video shot in Los Angeles starring Chris Black as the brothers' LA spiritual tour guide. The video was directed by Ben Klein (Sundance 2022 winner). The video has been featured on Ones To Watch, Earmilk, and Ladygunn, the song was featured on Spotify's Lorem and All New Indie.
Rebounder closed 2022 with a pair of shows supporting Phoenix.
2023 will see Rebounder release their second EP, "Sundress Songs," and do a nationwide headline run.
"Some bands just seem to have it all together. From the first second of music they release to the accomplished videos, it all just works." – NME
"If Rebounder was around during Gossip Girl, please tell me how there wouldn't have had a multi-track inclusion on the show." – Alt Citizen
"Japanese Posters is two-minutes-thirty of delightful cynicism, all packaged in the kind of earworm that could fool even the most hardened of hipsters into allegiance" – DIY
"Rebounder is the brainchild of New York native Dylan Chenfeld, specializing in genre-bending nostalgic pop and indie rock — irresistible in the sense that even the coolest Bushwick hipster at the gig can't help but tap his feet." – Honey Punch Mag
