Join us at Sugars Bar and Diner on August 27th, 2022 at 1:00 pm for a Quarter Auction. Relay For Life of Pottawattamie County is hosting a quarter auction and a 50/50 raffle.To participate in the Quarter Auction, you buy a paddle/paddles (that has a individual number on it) for $10 each. You will also be given a corresponding poker chip. The auctioneer will display an auction item and say how many quarters it will take to bid on it. If you want to bid you raise your paddle, we will come around and collect both your poker chip and your quarter(s). The auctioneer will then place all the poker chips in a bucket and draw a winner. After the winner is drawn we will return the poker chips to everyone and go to the next item.
To participate in the 50/50 raffle you will purchase a bracelet for $10. We will play heads or tails until there is one person standing and they will get 50% off the pot.
Bring your quarters, but if you run out we will have more for sale! Stay tuned as we add more information and pictures of our auction items.
