In partnership with U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Arkansas Advanced Energy Association (AAEA) will host its next Quarterly Charge, themed “Advancing Energy Efficiency in Arkansas,” on August 28, 2025, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. at 1403 E 6th Street in Little Rock. Hosted at Entegrity Headquarters, the first LEED Zero Energy certified project in the United States, the event will bring together energy professionals, local government leaders, and industry stakeholders to explore how energy efficiency supports reliability, cost management, and community resilience. The panel, to be moderated by April Ambrose, Director of Workforce Development for Arkansas Advanced Energy Foundation, will include:
- Manuel Wiese, Senior Environmental and Energy Policy Manager, Arkansas Energy Office (AEO): State programs
- Timothy D. Unruh, PhD, PE, CEM, Executive Director, National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO): ESPC mechanism & best practices
- Todd Dixon, Co-Owner, SunCrop Solar and Energy Solutions: Existing Homes - utility rebates, energy efficiency rebate programs
- Chris Kell, Partner, Payne Kell: New Construction - Energy Star
- Jonathan Rasburry, C-PACE Administrator, Arkansas Advanced Energy Foundation: CPACE and market-based financing tools
- Dr. Carlos Gamarra, Vice President of Energy, Air and IT, Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC): energy efficiency work, ITAC program
The event is free for AAEA and USGBC members and $20 for non-members. Members and non-members must RSVP by August 19: https://www.zeffy.com/ticketing/quarterly-charge.
