The Historic BK House & Gardens and The Vieux Carre Property Owners, Residents, and Associates (VCPORA) are embarking on a community history project together to document and celebrate the things that have made the French Quarter such a functioning and living neighborhood for so long.We are gathering testimonials (in written, video, or audio format) and images or artifacts to include in this project. They will be used for a special 3-part presentation series taking place in the Fall of 2024 and a potential exhibit to follow. Based on the content collected, each evening of the presentation series will be centered on a different theme and topic (i.e. kids in the French Quarter or businesses that served the community).
