The American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK) is a non-profit organization founded by professional animal care staff and related persons interested in promoting zoo keeping skills and animal care as a profession.
The local Lion Country Safari Chapter participates in several events and fundraisers throughout the year to promote animal keeping and to raise money for various efforts benefiting animals.
