This course is the training required by HSE for nominated First Aiders in the workplace and teaches up to 12 learners from all backgrounds and businesses vital first aid skills, knowledge and confidence.
This session is a minimum of 6 guided learning hours, taught by Tidal professionals with decades of experience in healthcare - HCPC Paramedics, First Responders and Resus Officers.
These skills are invaluable and covers key emergency topics including the role and responsibilities of a First Aider, assessing an incident, managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR and using a Defib (AED), heart attacks, shock, choking, minor wounds and injuries, anaphylaxis and more. The focus is on practical learning, giving the confidence to act.
Our training sessions are well supported and highly rated as our learners do use their First Aid skills learnt with us to save lives.
The qualification is nationally recognised, supports business insurance requirement and is valid for 3 years.
