About this Event
In this one-day workshop, you will engage with fundamental Quality Improvement principles, work on real challenges that you face, and apply human-centered design to your work. In addition to training you on core concepts, you will acquire tools to help you identify, refine, and scale improvements - the session is highly interactive and is focused on helping you ‘learn by doing’.
Why is Human-Centered Design a Good Fit with Quality Improvement?
Human-Centered Design (Design Thinking) helps manage complexity and bring multiple perspectives to the table. It enables deep conversations around past failures and provides a platform for clinicians and frontline staff to share their perspectives. Ultimately, design tools help people focus, align, and nurture creativity. Combining these with a clear implementation plan allows for meaningful change and more effective systems.
