Quality Comedy In Hampton
Look out peninsula! Quincy Carr and the Quality Comedy brand continues on the peninsula and we promise it's everything you would expect from a live clean adult comedy show! Noir in Hampton is the host venue where it all goes down. Get ready for the most fun & entertaining adult night out to get you over the "Hump" for the week! This month's show features comedians Candi "Aint-Right" from Atlanta's comedy scen & a local area guest comic. The headliner, national comedian T Ray Sanders. He has appeared on Bounce TV's "Off The Chain" comedy series & BET's Comic View! And yes he's bringing that signature humor and energy live on stage. Quality laughs on your hump day!
Quality Comedy in Hampton is presented by Quincy Carr, Inc. in collaboration with the Black Arts Foundation (BAF). BAF is a Virginia-based non-profit 501c3 whose mission is to establish forums that showcase emerging Artists of Color, to provide educational and professional development opportunities, and to advocate for the visibility and success of Black artists. The Virginia Black Film Festival (held earlier this year) was the first initiative of the BAF. Proceeds from the Quality Comedy in Hampton event will support a $50,000 Scholarship Endowment Fund founded by BAF for the Hampton University School of Liberal Arts & Education (SLAE) to benefit students in the Arts.
This event is created and hosted by comedian / television personality Quincy Carr! Quincy is a national comedian and has appeared on HBO Max and MTV. Known for his welcoming stage presence, hilarious observation and real life stories told through his trademark 'quality comedy' brand that promises side splitting laughs without the use of profanity. Quincy is everywhere these days, whether he's traveling the world entertaining cruise ship vacationers, co-hosting the weekly television program Living 757, producing multiple other live comedy shows including the original ongoing Quality Comedy Series (in Va Beach since 2010). Quality Comedy in Hampton will also feature performances by hilarious comics on the rise, with music provided by DJ Bobby D and a special invocation by Hampton University professor and filmmaker Rel Dowdell.
