Quakers, the Anti-Slavery movement, and the Underground Railroad, with an emphasis on Hamilton County." - by Thomas Hamm, Ph.D., Earlham CollegeWe are SO excited to welcome back Thomas Hamm, Professor of history; Quaker scholar in residence from Earlham College in Richmond (founded by a group of Quakers in 1847!!!) for our April program.
He spoke to our Historical Society before... (nearest I can recollect 2007?, has it been this long?,) and he will return April 15th at 7 PM to talk about Quakers, the Underground Railroad and the Anti-Slavery Movement especially in Hamilton County.
