Aspiring Civil Engineers, gear up for a challenge that pushes the boundaries of resilience and innovation! “𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭” at 𝐂𝐄𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝟐 invites undergraduate students to step into the world of seismic engineering by designing and constructing earthquake-resistant structures. Using the provided materials and working within a limited timeframe, participants must engineer buildings capable of withstanding shaking forces while carrying super-imposed loads based on floor area.Guided by a panel of experts in seismic engineering, this competition aims to enhance awareness and practical understanding of earthquake-resistant design. From careful planning to real-time performance under load, “𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭” is where creativity meets structural integrity. Join us and test your engineering instincts in one of the most thrilling challenges of the season.
✒️ 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬 & 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
•Each team consists of a maximum of three participants.
•All undergraduate students from any department enrolled at any university/institution in Bangladesh are eligible to participate.
•Each member needs to come from the same institution.
•Cross Institutional team is not allowed.
•The participants have 2 hours at DUET to construct the model using the materials and equipment provided by organiser. (personal materials are not permitted).
🏆 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐥:
•Prizes will be awarded to Champion, 1st Runner-up & 2nd Runner-up based on their attained scores.
•An alluring prize pool of 45k+ BDT has been announced that will be distributed.
•Besides a Gorgeous Crest and winning Certificate will be offered to the winners of this 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 segment.
