It's quadball season! Are you interested in learning a new sport, spending more time outside, and making some new friends? Quadball, formerly known as Quidditch, is a full-contact, mixed-gender sport with fundamentals from rugby, ultimate frisbee, and dodgeball.
NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY to come try it out! No one grew up playing quadball, we're accepting of whatever skills you have to bring. Please arrive early to get set up so we can start on time.
The schedule will go as follows:
→ 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Warm up and demonstration – the returning Lost Boys Quadball roster will explain the different positions, the fundamentals, and general gameplay.
→ 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Dip your toes in! No one who attends will be forced to play but we'll spend this hour letting you try different positions, getting used to holding a "broom," throwing, and catching.
→ 12:30PM - 2:00PM: In the last 1.5 hours of the event, you'll have an opportunity to practice what you've learned! We'll keep things slow and easy, but as the time progresses things will get moving and you can hop into a scrimmage or two.
Quadball is a fantastic way to meet people, and not just in Los Angeles! Each year, we have multiple travel opportunities that span across the US, and we are always so excited have new people join us!
The Lost Boys are a tight-knit group where our relationships extend past the pitch, with regular pool days, game nights, lunch outings, and more!
