QPR is a suicide prevention training consisting of three skills: Question, Persuade, and Refer. QPR is not a form of counseling or treatment. Rather it is intended to offer hope through positive action. By learning QPR, you will come to recognize the warning signs, clues, and suicidal communications of people in trouble, and gain skills to act vigorously to prevent a possible tragedy.
This workshop is held Free of Charge by the Health Education Center. It will be held in-person on December 10th, 2024 from 7 pm -8:30 pm at the Bradley Playhouse located at 30 Front St., Putnam, CT.
