Join us for the Qoya winter safety series with Zandra!Qoya is an embodiment movement practice based on the idea that through movement we remember. We remember that our essence as women is like NATURE - wise, wild, and free. Wise, wild, and free also inspire the movement forms practiced in a Qoya class:
🧘🏽♀️ Wise: Calling on the wisdom of yoga, meditation, ritual, and contemplation.
🦅 Wild: The creative and authentic expression in dance.
🎶 Free: The freedom to feel pleasure in the body through feminine or sensual movement by choosing what feels nourishing.
Qoya is also based on the idea that there is no way you can do it wrong. If it feels good to you, that's how you know you are doing it right. It’s a physical movement practice that allows us to shift to be more present in the body, and we do this by tuning into the feeling.
Each class has a theme mixed with rituals, ecstatic dance, community sharing, and a guided journey back into the body with epic music. Healing happens in the community, and Qoya class creates a safe space to support us to drop us out of our heads and into our bodies by following the physical sensation of truth.
We have so much fun moving, sweating, stretching, and being together. All of you is welcome here.
We hope you can join us for one or all of the 3 part embodiment series.
The theme we will be dancing with for this Winter class series is: FEELING SAFE IN YOUR BODY.
Each class theme will build upon the next and move you through a journey of exploring what the felt sense of safety feels like, how it feels to take up space with each other, and what happens when we slow wayyyy dowwwwwn. We will build a bridge where we can slow down, deeply listen, and trust the body's inner wisdom.

Testimonials:
"Zandra creates a sacred space for women to connect deeply with their bodies and self-expression. My first Qoya experience was transformational—dancing through feelings of "non-safety" shifted something profound within me. Moving for my own pleasure, surrounded by women expressing their truth, brought healing beyond words. I'm deeply grateful for this powerful experience." -Katie G
"When Zandra shared she was starting Qoya classes, I felt an instant pull to join. My first class unlocked parts of me I had hidden and revealed new sides I didn’t know existed. Zandra’s leadership is extraordinary—everything she said resonated deeply, reminding us there's no wrong way to move and encouraging full self-expression. At times, it felt like dancing around a fire, free and wild, where true healing happens through acceptance and love. The freedom and empowerment I found have transformed my daily life, leaving me more open and confident in my body. Zandra’s Qoya is a beautiful gift to our community, and I’m grateful to be part of it." -Allie S
"The experience was truly magical! I felt nervous and self-conscious at first, but as we danced, especially while moving our hips, my confidence grew. It was so powerful and freeing to be surrounded by nonjudgmental women, letting go, listening to my body, and allowing it to guide me. Your calming guidance and the supportive energy of everyone there helped me shift out of my head and into my body. Sweating, crying, laughing, and dancing with strangers who left such a deep impact on my journey was transformative. The moment the music stopped felt symbolic, like an ancestral connection—dancing around a fire, raw and free. I’m so grateful I stepped into this experience and embraced it fully!" -Brittany B
