About the Artist
QOW Trio brings together three generations of UK jazz: saxophonist Riley Stone-Lonergan, bassist Eddie Myer, and legendary drummer Spike Wells. Their debut album The Hold Up (Ubuntu Music) was hailed by critics as “first-rate” and “extraordinary.” Drawing inspiration from Sonny Rollins, Ornette Coleman, and beyond, the trio thrives on the freedom of the sax/bass/drums format — creating performances that are melodic, adventurous, and alive with possibility.
