The annual clash of Queensland Debating returns April 12th - 13th! Hello! Find below the sign on form for UQDS x QUT Queensland Cup Competition! This competition is a relaxed, free to join mini. We will have 5 rounds of 3v3 Easters style debating, with a break to a semis and final* (depending on numbers).
You don't have to be attending Easters to debate / judge, this tournament is open to anyone of any skill level!
If you do not have a team, we can try to help, please indicate so on the form.
When: 12th & 13th April
Location: QUT Gardens Point (Building TBA)

Schedule:
Saturday 12th
9am - Check in (be here at this time)
9:30am - Briefings begin and check in closes
10am - Draw releases and round 1 begins
12pm - Lunch
1:30pm - Round 2 begins
3:30pm - Round 3 begins
5:30pm - First day of debating wrap up and social for those who want to attend
Sunday 13th
9am - Check in
9:30am - Briefing and check in closes
9:45am - Round 4 begins
11:45am - Lunch
12:30pm - Round 5 begins
2:30pm - Break announcement (semi finalist teams are released)
2:45pm - Semi final debates take place
5pm - Grand final debate takes place
Awards once grand final is done (probably at 6:15pm)
What to bring:
- Pens
- Paper
- Water
- Lunch (if you don't intend to buy it when we go for lunch)
- Some snacks for a BYO social.
