About this Event

Qigong to Restore Class Series presented by 's Theraputic Movement Program

  • Dates & Time: Wednesdays; 10:30-11:15am CT (45-min sessions) from February 11th - March 4th, 2026 (once weekly for 4-weeks)
  • Location: Hybrid (option to join in person or virtual via Telehealth Zoom - more info below)
  • Facilitator: Cindy Hui-Lio, EdD., Certified Tai Chi & Qigong Instructor.

Description:

Derived from Tai Chi and Qigong, this series incorporates slow and gentle movements that focus on increasing blood circulation and fluid flow throughout the body, reduce joint stiffness, muscle tension, blood pressure, and improve overall health and well-being. Movements focus on subtle leg bending and circular arm and trunk motion and can be modified to be done either seated and standing.

This class is a part of our "M1" Suitability Code Categories on our Movement Class Suitability Guide (see below).

M1 classes are suitable for those with some physical limitations and those new to the practice. Modifications available if support of a chair or the wall is needed.

We recommend starting with a M1 (or M1/M2) series, repeat the series as needed, then progress to a M2, then M3 series.
