🌿Qigong for Health:Balancing Lung & Large Intestine Energy🌬️
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Lung and Large Intestine meridians—connected to the Metal element—govern our ability to breathe deeply, release waste, and let go of grief.
When balanced, they support clear breathing, strong immunity, healthy digestion, radiant skin, and emotional ease.
When out of balance, we may experience respiratory or digestive issues, skin problems, fatigue, or lingering sadness. Factors like shallow breathing, poor sleep, and stress can all disrupt this harmony.
This Qigong class offers gentle movement, mindful breathwork, and guided energy practices to help restore balance, strengthen the immune system, and cultivate calm, grounded vitality for body and spirit.
The weekly Friday classes are practice based (we spend less time in our intellect learning about the "why's and hows" and more time in our bodies just experiencing the practice).
These classes are made up of a Hatha Yoga warm up, Qigong Forms, Breathwork and Visualization techniques.

Gwyn is the founder of Mind and Body Fitness Connections, co-founder of Ecstatic Dance OKC, and she serves on the board of Radiant Healing Arts Center. A wellness coach and Qigong teacher, Gwyn helps clients and students navigate both physical and emotional pain, including mental health challenges, PTSD, and addiction recovery. With training in biopsychology, corrective exercise, bodywork, mindfulness, and food healing, Gwyn blends movement, manual therapy, nutrition, creativity, and spirituality to support holistic healing, balance, and alignment with one’s higher purpose.
