About this Event
QEWBOO stands for Queer Explorers of Worlds Beyond Our Own. The book club reads queer speculative/science fiction and fantasy. Many of the books read contain graphic content. Participants are encouraged to review trigger warnings before starting any book, and alternative readings are suggested when appropriate. It is held on the last Sunday of each month at 2 p.m., unless otherwise indicated.
Contact Monday at [email protected] with any questions.
Cost: Please bring a contribution (sliding scale $1-5) for the meeting room reservation at Under the Umbrella. If $1 a month is a barrier for you, you are still welcome to attend!
COVID Precautions: It is a requirement for both the bookstore and the book club to wear a mask.
When possible, please support the store and the authors by purchasing a copy here! Most books should also be available at local libraries. One copy of each book is available for free to any BIPOC interested in reading the book but unable or unwilling to pay for a copy.
