Join us for a Compost Giveback event at Queens Botanical Garden! The Compost team at QBG is excited to be distributing bags of the high quality compost we make on site to the community.
Limit of 1 bag per registrant, or two if you show your Halloween spirit with a costume or spooky attire! Only one ticket is allowed per household. The person who registered for the event must be present to receive compost. This giveaway will be for NYC residents only. Staff will be present to assist and load pre-bagged compost into your vehicle or cart. This event takes place in QBG's Parking Garden at 42-80 Crommelin Street, Flushing, NY.
Registration required.
Six registration times are available: Please note that you will only be able to pick up compost during the registration time you get a ticket for. Please do not arrive earlier than the time slot in which you’re registered. Compost cannot be guaranteed for registrants who arrive after their designated time slot.
If you are unable to attend after registering, please cancel your ticket in advance. Thank you!

Queens Botanical Garden (QBG) occasionally photographs or films visitors and activities on site to support our mission in promotional media and materials, including print, online, broadcast, and social media. By attending this event, you grant permission to QBG use your likeness in perpetuity, in all forms of print and digital media used to promote, publicize, or advertise the Garden, its activities, and programs. If you do not give QBG permission to take and use your image, you must notify an event organizer or staff when you arrive for this event. QBG is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
